Process

The crumb powder is manufactured only from a range of truck tread peelings. In the initial stages, the rubber goes through a sophisticated separation and purification process to free it of all the contaminants. In the next stage it is ground at an ambient temperature. Lastly, necessary steps are taken to ensure that the manufacturing process caters to prescribed product specifications.

Rubber powder can be used for the surface treatment of calandered sheets. It helps in increasing the air outlet in products, thus rendering them more utile. The crumb can also be used in asphalt to provide durable and long-lasting roads, reduce noise level and cracking of road surfaces. It can also increase flexibility in cold weather and improve drainage of excess water so as to better the service life of the roads. Compared to traditional high-filled compounds, this product can be combined with chalk to achieve a much lower density.
